Why make a will?
If you die without a will, the law - and not you or your relatives - will decide how to divide up your property. For example, your husband or wife may not inherit everything you wish or a distant relative may take precedence over a lifetime friend or charity of your choice.
Making a will is a simple process for most people. It will give you a peace of mind knowing that your family will not be troubled by the complexity or expenses if you die intestate (without a will).

How much does a will cost?
We will send you a Wills Questionnaire and prepare your draft Will from the answers you give us. A meeting will be arranged if required. We will incorporate any changes to the draft Will and finalise the document ready for signature.

Our charges for a straightforward will are only £250 plus VAT for an individual and £350 plus VAT for joint wills. We will give you an estimate for more complicated wills involving detailed tax planning or the creation of trusts.

How do I do it?
Simply contact us and we will send you a wills questionnaire or arrange an appointment with you.

Probate & Administration of Estates
Using our expertise, we act swiftly to wind up estates and ensure that beneficiaries receive their entitlement as quickly as possible. We advise on inheritance tax and consider how best to arrange the affairs to minimise tax.
We have on our team a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.
An estimate of costs will be given at the outset to the executors or administrators of the Estate.
